MICHELLE CAROLLO
ARTIST
Michelle Carollo is an artist, operational strategist, educator, and community organizer. She received an MFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute and has shown her work around the country including New York City, Miami, San Francisco, Baltimore, and Indianapolis. Michelle recently completed a public art commission in 2018 at Metropolitan High School in Forest Hills. Outside of her own personal practice, she has worked extensively in the public non-profit sector, working to strengthen the art community for both organizations and individual artists. Formerly, she was the Senior Program Manager at NEW INC, an art x design x technology incubator through the New Museum. When Michelle is not installing public art projects, you can find her hiking with her rescued parrots, making pickles, and spending time with family and friends.
