Kristen Phipps (United States, 1993) was born and raised in Wichita, KS, and lives in Columbus, OH, as an MFA painting candidate at The Ohio State University. She received a BFA in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design and an AA from Cowley County Community College. Her work has been included in The Gathered Gallery online publication and the February 2018 issue of the Wichita Magazine, and reviewed by SCAD District and Savannah Art Informer. Recent shows include “Wild Art Columbus” at Wild Goose Creative in April 2019, and “Threads” at Hopkins Hall Gallery in January 2019 in Columbus Ohio. Kristen will be attending a summer residency at Greywood Arts in Cork, Ireland.
